Labor Day Weekend, 2005, found us canoe camping at Lake Umbagog, which straddles the northern New Hampshire/Maine border.

It’s a fairly remote spot, and the early morning mist only seemed to increase the sense of quiet isolation.

  1. Wow! Great texture combination of the beaded web and the leaves! (juniper?)

  2. A jeweled surprise!
Morning always seems to bring plenty of those, especially in Winter.

  3. This one is just fantastic!!! Kudos!
