Frosty Perfection: Winter’s 1st Snowflakes

Just as we were opening our gifts on Christmas morning this year, a light, fluffy snow began to fall in New England. The world was a Norman Rockwell painting come alive.

The llama & wool fibers of my felt hat kept these perfect flakes aloft so I could capture them with the digital macro setting on my point & shoot camera.
